The Finer Details: Our story
The Concours d'Elegance began with a commitment to showcasing classic, rare and magnificent automobiles. Since then, we've grown from a one-day show into an esteemed lifestyle event spanning the weekend. We've added popular new activities like the Concours Invitational Art Exhibition featuring international automotive artists and fashions presented by Detroit's own icons. We've moved from our first home at Oakland University's Meadow Brook Hall to the grounds of the Inn at St. John's in Plymouth, Michigan. But across all those years, our passion for hosting an event that truly celebrates the automobile has remained as steadfast as ever.
The road ahead
In 2021, the Concours d'Elegance joined Hagerty's growing lineup of immersive automotive experiences. With years of expertise hosting car-centric events and a mission to fuel car culture, Hagerty is proud to continue the significant tradition of the Concours d'Elegance.
